実は、動画作った後から知ったことですが、MKレストランは殆ど九州限定みたいです。九州に居るかたは是非、行ってみてくださいね！

Ryuhei and I love spending lazy Sundays at MK Restaurant, because their all-you-can eat Lunch menu is only 1,080 yen. To put it in North American terms, a 1000 yen bill is the equivalent of a $10 dollar bill. (Although with the exchange rate, the currencies international values differ.)

That's not all though, MK's "lunchtime" extends all the way to 5 o'clock PM. I'm one of those people who can never be up and ready to go before noon on a Sunday, so we're always grateful that MK's lunch deal extends to "just before dinner time."

This time, the soup is red, because we chose to have the spicy soup, but normally, shabu shabu soup is made with dashi (fish stock), I believe.

There has been confusion lately about the intentions behind my videos. The AVON Soap video was meant to be a review of the products that they sent me, but other wise, none of my videos are sponsored. The places I choose to go and the things I choose to introduce are a reflection of my interests and personal favorite places to go in Japan. (In the case of MK, the fact that you can eat as much as you want, for a low price, fits the needs of a student like me, who doesn't have a large budget for eating out.)

This seems similar to fondue. You allow the hot broth to cook various meats. Kinda cool. I prefer more expensive/higher quality foods even if I can only have them occasionally. Cheap food usually taste good but isn't good for you (at least here in the States). Don't get me wrong...I love some Taco Bell...but it's really unhealthy. I'm always reminded of this when I've finished digesting it... "Oh yeah, that's why I don't eat Taco Bell very often."

Thank you for all your videos! It's such a shame your videos attract a lot of negative comments from so really negative people. I think what you're doing is great, showing us what your life is like in Japan. Keep up the good work!
