I was privileged and lucky to see and meet Cookie at the band at the 1995 Blues Estafette in Urtrecht, Netherlands. Nice guys and serious musicians. Miss you so much.

Cookie died a few years ago, so this is historically important video . . . especially since he disapeared from around 1965 to around 1993. As a result, there is little if any video/film of him performing.

Yes - I was so lucky to catch this one - it was either the first or second gig after Cookie re-appeared. It was much more low key than I expected - they opened up for Charles Mann. There were no stage lights, and I only managed to get some reasonable film because Ernest Jacobs, their piano player, had a friend filming it as well, using a spotlight on his camera. I had to follow his light, so Ernest's film will be very similar to mine.
