This film follows the previous one. The urchins are collected from the seabed to stop them grazing down the kelp forests. They are then sorted into boxes for cultivation to maximise their gonad index for the market. They are regularly cleaned and fed. Note the level of automation used to raise, sort and lower the culture units.

  • Its amazing the automation they have for raising the boxes and feeding....note how little biofouling they have to scrape off due to the smooth, black surface of the holding boxes....
