Its a really cool collage indeed ! The song has nothing to do with Lou. This was written by John Cale and this version (studio version) is on his album, blackAcetate: from 2005. The live version is on Circus Live (2007).

to be honest i don´t know it precisely. it´s a song from a time when cale and lou reed worked together. john cale knows it at best :D

I´ve just heard him say that he writes all his songs in the studio nowadays. Whatever, it´s a nice song. I prefer the version on Circus Live though.

i saw john in prague at concert, it was one day after his birthday. the crowd shout "happy birthday, john" and he was so excited about it that he has prolonged the concert nearly to 2 hours... and it was i great performance.
