This is my favorite anime. It was about the fourth that I really watched, and I absolutely fell eternally in love with it. <3 I want to read the manga, but I don't have the money. ;.; Long live Tsubasa and Yuki Kajiura!!

Poor Romanov family, they were murdered by a bunch of Red peasants, had there never been a Russian Revolution, the Russian Empire, or whatever form it would have taken, would have become an extremely powerful country throughout the 20th century and into the 21st, not the oligarchic hellhole it is now, with Putin at the helm. If you want to see more about this counterfactual history, read "The Complete What If" book, it tells history from an alternate perspective
