i got my braces few days ago. yes, it hurts a little bit two days after you put them but nothing scary, it's not a big deal... for me, it's much more painful when somebody rips out piece of your hair or something or hits you hard in the arm, than this. nothing special!

for a lot of people it doesn't hurt to much, but i couldn't let my teeth touch for a month... just don't get your hopes up.

I got braces and I have stoppers so I can't eat anything with out four metal squares things banging on my bottom teethe

when i was getting my braces on, i couldn't even tell. they didn't hurt like at all the first day, but the second day it sucked! by the 3rd day, they hurt. but not as much as the second day. now i don't even notice them! but when i went yesterday, it was an absolute nightmare! they put a new wire in, but they bent the wire so that the gaps could close. they put cross wires on my four front teeth, bent the wire in the back up and around so it wouldn't poke my mouth. i haven't eaten for 2 days!

they can't hurt after two days so much. i got them and they didn't hurt at all. it only was a problem with eating, it hurts a bit, when you bite. but it's ok, you can put up with that.

They don't hurt a lot when you first get them on.. your teeth will feel tight like they don't fit together the same way for a few days or weeks. It gets better... when they start to feel comfortable it will be about time to get them tightened and THAT is what hurts. It may hurt a bit getting them tightened, for me the first time wasn't awful but hurt a bit.

I forgot to say, after I got home from having them tightened was the worse. I had sharp pains all in my cheek and jaw up to my temple it was pretty awful! It was bad one day then a little on and off for a week or so.. now it still hurts but is not as bad.. hopefully stops hurting before I go get them tightened again!
