HATCHED SHINY CHIMCHAR WITH 31 ATTACK IV (Diamond, Masuda Method)

Holy crap o_0 I didn't think I would hatch shiny Chimchar before June ended, but on June 30, at about 10 p.m., I DID! My luck FINALLY returns. I hatched for 12 days, and on the 1,064 Chimchar egg, a shiny hatched!

Well, once I got past 1,000 eggs, I started to save before getting the first egg, then get two more, hatch the first, save, then hatch the second and third eggs. Then I would save and hatch the fourth egg, doing the same with the fifth. That way I could SR for IVs on the first, fourth, and fifth if they happened to be shiny. Ironically, the fourth egg in my party ended up being shiny but I had gotten bored of hatching that way by then and had saved before receiving the first egg. I couldn't trust my memory with whether or not I saved before hatching the other four eggs, one of which contained the shiny. So, I apologize, but I could not film the shiny hatching. At first, I was mad I could not SR for good IVs, but then I checked its IVs o0

The first leg of the Shiny Circuit for serebii forums is finally completed for me! After hatching Turtwig with no egg moves, I decided to go for Chimchar with an egg move, so it would count toward the Shiny Circuit.

Nature: JOLLY (Hell yes)
Characteristic: Likes to thrash about (even better)
IVs: 10-12/31/22-25/4-6/0-3/24-26
Moves: Leer, Thunderpunch (egg move), Flamethrower, Facade

Wow, PERFECT Attack, good Defense, and awesome Speed!

I'll take a break from hatching for now and go for Piplup later, this time on my Pearl. Knowing my Diamond, I'll have to go over 1,000 eggs again to get a shiny.

people dont save before an egg hatches or dont save after you get your egg unless your going to turn the game off the pokemon inside the egg will never change for example if you save before one step before saving and it hatches to be a girl chimchar with hasty nature and is alert and then you shut your game off without saving you will get the same thing over and over.

If you want to SR for good IVs on a shiny egg, you would have to save before receiving each one, and hatch one at a time, which would be a pain. Exactly, after you receive the egg nothing about it changes.
