It's called Grifball because in one episode of red vs. blue, Sarge was playing some kind of shooting gallery game with Grif, firing sniper rounds at him, at the end of the scene, he said it was the best game since Grifball. So I guess that people were asking what Grifball was. So they made this. The point of Grifball is Griff pain and suffering, Grif multiple deaths, and of course, Grif's humiliation. That about sums it up.

@awsomeman1810 OHHHHHHH, they named it after grif due to sarges love of killing grif, and since the game is based on killing grif what better name to call it then grifball
