Qualcosa del genere era accaduto in Giappone nel 1983. La qualità interpretativa di Horowitz era come al solito eccelsa, ma era una serata in cui le note ogni tanto gli sfuggivano dal controllo. Questo, comunque, non toglie la corona al grande e leggendario "Volodia" !!!

Oh wow an actual whole video of Vladimir Horowitz doing it! can't believe this guy actually blew Rachmaninoff himself away on how he played it. Thank you for uploading! :) Though he didn't do the ossia cadenza but oh well. This video will views in no time!

Mistakes over mistakes- and nobody recognizes this because this pianist has a status of god- but he isn`t god- he isn`t. There are many pianists, playing this concert much better!

@Audicoelo Cortot did so many mistakes when he played, and some said that even when he did mistake he "created" something. So, I don't believe any pianist is "god", but I don't consider that "mistakes' number" is a suitable standard to judge pianists. I'd rather consider their ideas, their capacity to create an unique sound, their vision; and when I say "vision" I mean their ability to catch in a piece something that others didn't catch, sometimes not even the composer himself.
