Wind and Rain

Well, I finally have a new computer that doesn't crash every time I try to record something. :D So I'm back! Huzzah.

Johnny has been wanting me to post this song for a while, so I decided it should be my first since I'm able to record again. :) I've read that it's a very old ballad, dating back to the 1600's and having originated in Scotland or possibly Britain. It's always difficult to tell with the older songs, as they evolve and change wherever they go. This version here is the one by Gillian Welch from the film 'Songcatcher'. It's the only one I've heard so far, but I like it very much.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it. Sorry if I've gotten a little rusty since my last recording. ^_^; I'm just happy to be back!
