  • This was a one off created by Mr. Kosaku Wada of Wada Works of Japan. It was made in O scale as a Union Pacific "Big Blow" and available in Japan back in 1995.

  • Wow, i thougt of something like this in the past... It looks beautiful, exept for the noisy vaporizing burner.. I would like to hear more of the turbine itself! Does the turbine drive the wheels directly by gears, or is it "steam-electric", just like the "diesels"?

  • This version as direct drive with a 17:1 gear ratio. A later version was steam turbine-electric.
