and ezekiel: "Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him" "Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal" etc.

@laurensDG another reason for the band-name could be the magician aleister crowley, who called himself "mega therion 666". it's not so important, that the band name is related to nordic mythology. it probably is indirectly connected with it. the lyrics are clearly related and the dragon-rouge-background makes it self-evident, why they sing about odin.

@laurensDG The former name of the band was "Megatherion" which means "Great Beast". This is the beast which is mentioned in the greek bible (revelation of john/apocalypse). Most people would equate it with satan or the devil. The order "Dragon Rouge" is so to speak satanic. The dragon became another symbol for the devil, and in the ancient european cultures the dragon was a very important symbol (e.g. viking ships with dragon-heads, or the welsh flag).
