Fall For You A Jonas Story Chapter 16

Jillian's P.O.V.
About a week after Joe told me about Frankie he had to go get a checkup again. I was really nervous. He was practically my little brother and this isn't fair. He is only 8 years old. Thinking about it brought tears to my eyes. But I tried to think positive. I was in my room putting some clothes away when Frankie walked in. "Hey Jilly!" I heard him say. "Hi buddy. What's up?" I asked trying to sound as cheerful as possible. "I have to go to the doctors today. And I'm scared. Why do I have to keep going so much?" he asked me. I looked at him and then sat next to him on my bed. "Don't be scared. It's ok. You are only going so much so the doctor can make sure you're healthy." I said because I knew he still didnt know about his cancer yet because the doctors still weren't sure. "But I don't want to go back." he said and I could see some tears in his eyes. This hurt me. I didn't want to see him sad like this. "It's ok Frankie. Mommy is going with you. She won't let anything bad happen to you and you know that." I told him trying to convince him it was ok. "Will you come with us today?" he asked me. This was a hard question. I would probably cry if they told us he had cancer today but I couldn't get him more upset. "Of course I will."I replied and saw that cute smile appear on his face."Thanks! I'm gonna go tell Mommy. I'll come get you when its time to go." he said. "Ok." I said smiling. And with that he ran out of my room almost colliding with Joe who was walking into my room. "Whoa Frank watch out." Joe said as he ruffled his hair and Frankie kept going. "What was he doing in here?" Joe asked. "Umm, telling me that he was scared to go to the doctor, asked why he had to go all the time, and asked me to go with him to his appointment today." I replied falling back on my bed with my hands over my eyes. "Oh. Are you going with him?" he asked as he layed down next to me. "Yeah, you should have seen him. He was so scared. He had tears in his eyes. I don't know if i will be able to take going to the docor with him because he knows nothing that is going on. But he was so happy when I said yes. I can't let him down." I said rolling over to face Joe. "I know its hard babe. It's hard for all of us. Do you want me to come with you guys?" he asked. "Yeah, I do." I said and leaned up to give him a kiss. He smiled and for some reason that always makes everything better even when I know its not. Joe and I continued to lay on my bed. We were talking about when their next tour was when Frankie walked in. "Jilly its time to go." he said to me. I sat up and said "Ok, is it ok if Joe comes with us too?" "Sure!" Frankie said happy that someone else was coming along. "We'll meet you downstairs in a minute buddy." Joe said and Frankie ran out of my room. "Are you ready?" Joe asked me. "As ready as I'll ever be." I said and then we walked out of my room hand in hand.

We arrived at the doctors and the nurse had said that only 2 people could come in with Frankie. Of course Mrs. Jonas was going in and we all left the choice up to Frankie of who else he wanted. He asked for me to come and Joe was fine with that so Mrs. Jonas, Frankie and I followed the nurse down a long white hallway and into a small room.

Joe's P.O.V.
I had just finished reading some magazine when I looked at my watch. They had been in that room for at least 35 minutes and I was getting worried. I grabbed my phone and sent a text to Jillian saying: whats going on in there?? She didn't answer me back but I understood that she probably thought it would be rude to text back so I grabbed another magazine. When I had finished reading this one I looked up and saw that my mom, Frankie, and Jillian were walked back into the waiting room. I saw that my mom and Jillian were crying. This couldn't be good.
