This is a rocky beach a few miles from Portland Maine that I visited with the SUNY Potsdam Geology Department during the 2009 Northeastern section meeting of the Geological Society of America. It was a very windy day (so I apologize for the less than pleasant soundtrack), but the weather was beautiful, the local geology was fascinating, and the tide pools were full of cool algae, barnacles, and mussels.
*I expect to add more precise information about the location if you care to visit this really great spot. The video doesn't really do it justice. (4/13/09)
