its a completely different sport to NFL, a quick nfl RB wouldnt exactly carve up in rugby because we have no blocking and defense works diferent, if they tried to run behind players they would get done for what we call shepherding. A rugby tackle is also diferent as we do low head on tackles 80% of the time. Whats rugby like in the USA? id love to go there for a few months and play

@Theriot6592 Snow shovel.. ya, I'd travel half way 'round the planet to play on a frozen field. You actually think professional rugby players would do it? Maybe during a domestic game in England, Wales, Scotland, but in a set-tourney (IRB 7's), it's planned around where they are playing at what time of year, for weather reasons.
btw - If US players (such as yourself) are toughing it out in snow, you'd think it produce grittier players, what's the overall winning % against say Canada in 15's? :)

@Theriot6592 ; ya, Boston in February, good call man... the schedule for IRB Sevens doesn't revolve around the USA. Think about weather around the world, what season is it in say South Africa right now... ? Not too many international rugby players even want to come over to North America, so they better put the tourney in a place they can have fun. Boston? in February? Fun?
