C6 is a tuff ass trans, GM 400 would have took a shit from that abuse, i know first hand, just cant do that kind of abuse with a GM trans.
70 model Fords are built tuff, dana 44s, 205Tcases, C6 or T15, rear Ford 9, engines 351 sweet smooth power, holly carbs excellent, 460 BIG torque monsters again very civilized engines smooth power, 400s Big block power, long stroke absolutely the best of them all prized for power and performance in a light weight package. great trucks.

In this situation it is best to not turn the wheel at all it only makes more drag also apply the parking brake about half way this creates enough drag on the spinning tire to transfer torque to the other tire
