Nobody wants to touch that with a ten foot pole. Theres not even any kind of proper Alice In Chains biography book or documentary. I heard they're actually making a movie about Layne Staley though so whatever. I wonder how many of you guys actually were fans BEFORE he died. Hes underated sure, but for people who know anything he's gotten his fair due. I've watched him become a legend here on internet/ youtube so thats something. I don't think he would have wanted the attention anyway.

I have so much respect for Layne Staley as a vocalist. I listen to him everyday and he lives on deep inside me. Why I was drawn to enjoy his voice so much over any other vocalist in the history of rock music is beyond my comprehension, but he has such a profound impact on my life daily; that it's staggering. I simply love his voice weather it was in 1989, 1996, Ring them Bells or Died in 1999.
I'm so fucking down with this cause, it's rediculous.

@coonscrib thank you! it's something we feel should have been done a long time ago...but better later than never! layne's fans are just awesome....layne's music has impacted so many with his music and lyrics and just the funny, most compassionate guy who helped so many to survive and hum another day! :)
