  • Ha. Well okay then! ;)

  • I separate all the stuff before I put the trash out, so it was weird to hear that you do it after wards lol. Glad to hear that changed though ;p

  • Well, that changed quite some time ago. Previously, we put all our garbage in a spot under the apartment building. Then once a month a person from each apartment would have to work with the others and sort the garbage by what can be recycled (cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, etc., etc.). You've never sorted garbage before? :P

  • Well, no, it wouldn't be an insult. And for women, it's different than for men. What I mean is that during our school dinners, for the most part, the women sit together and the men sit together. The men have soju bottles flying around and the women don't. Of course, there are times when someone (i.e. the principal) makes the rounds and gives everyone some soju. If you don't want it (or can't have it) water will suffice -- just ask for it, no biggy :)

  • Another question...what does it mean to sort the garbage? What exactly does that entail?

  • Would it be an insult to them if you didn't drink soju with them? I actually can't drink alcohol because of a medical condition, so I wouldn't be able to do that with them. I don't want them to think i'm insulting them though :(
