Да что ж они так низко поют??!

her voice is just *made* to sing Cuzzoni's arias and particularly excels in these sad, wistful ones (as did Cuzzoni herself, apparently) .. this had me welling up at the first bar, it is so incomparably beautiful. and her highest notes really are her very best ones, just absolute perfection.

@Fleviel I thank you now my friend! Me personally, I just love to enjoy beautiful music and singing without pulling notes and vowels apart!

This is BEAUTIFUL, but I must say she slightly resembles Edward Scissorhands!
-
Simone's Edward Scissorhands' photo is scary.

@sabisake do you mean a closed [e] or an open [ɛ]?

Maravillosa versión.

Very very lovely!

@sabisake I'm Italian and I must say that in this case the "e" is not open... you're now free to fully enjoy the interpretation! thank me later!
From point of me, Simone Kermes sings "Piangerò la sorte mia" marvelous and adorable.

This is is probably the most beautifully intimate and original interpretation ever -
SK shows her amazing baroque technique and teaches us all that less is sometimes more. So few singers can master pianissimo, but she triumphs!
