No there is some kind of candlelight march/parade as part of the get out the vote campaign. The people aren't walking away in protest. She got the words correct when she sang at the Foot Locker Cross Country event.

She screwed up a couple of phrases in the anthem. Also, she's singing at the USS Midway, where many patriotic people gather, on July 4th, which is a holiday celebrating independance from England. The national anthem is taken very seriously most of the time and this would probably be considered one of them. If she weren't so gorgeous, she'd have been boo'd a little more loudly than she was.

does not mean she paies attention to the anthem, god i was bourn and breed in NZ and i havent a fucking clue what our anthem is.

I Love you Carly but come on now girl you should know our National Anthem before you sing it. You're living in the good ol'e USA now. You still did a beautiful job and have a great voice. I agree with the rest you should have not been voted out so soon!!!!
