Wtf man,

The Star-Spangled Banner" are various references to the horrors of war and USA's war in america. He was not extremely pro American at all. During the Vietnam war conscription was in place, if the government deemed you fit to go, you went or went to jail. You should read a fucking, or watch a real documentary and also just know some general facts about history and such. Also he had huge fan base in the US, however England had a larger, better rock scene then the US did really.

Well im not an expert by any means haha, but the whole rock scene began in england, thats why we got guys such as jimmy page who started led zeppelin after the yardbirds, clapton with cream and the yardbirds, the rolling stones, the who, the beatles, and the list goes on and on. Although, these guys were inspired by delta blues thats started in america with guys such as robert johnson and muddy waters as well as many others. Thats just an extremely breif history if anyone wants to add please do!
