This was back in october of 2008. We were going to dump a load of hog fuel. This is my dads daily driver. This truck is a 1999 kenworth T800 aerocab thats powered with a 3406E with 5" straight pipes and a RTO-16710C 10 speed transmission. It also has a drop axle, air ride suspension, and 3:55 rear ends. You don't need low gearing like 4:11 or 4:56 for a highway truck.

  • With a 10 speed if your pulling any kind of weight ...yes you do wand a lower ratio bud dont kid yourself. get it out in the hills!! you will soon find out!

  • @ck15001994 Well i made this video long time ago, and i do agree! 3:55s are wayyyyyy to high geared, especially if it only has a 10 speed. If it had an 18 it wouldn't be so bad, but still

  • nice truck dude.. this is ur dad's Rig my dad owned 2 KW's a 1994 w900l anda 96w900l 18speed gotta love KW's..

  • my dads gonna get an 18 speed swap when its time for a new clutch.

  • sounds nice, good bark but not overpowering

  • With the jakes on straight piped, we've been told it sounds like just any other trucks from outside pretty much unless it was a straight piped cummins or detroit 60 series, they sound like hell with straight pipes.
