Ok, just out of curiosity, why is it this is more preferable to having a simple isolated switch/motor on the base which operates the turntable?

It is an actual select unit and is at the moment working completely independent to the elite. Thanks for the comment :)

do you have to have the large controller to operate the turntable, or can i use the smaller one?
