@sergiocornaga Thanks. I had it in my head that the piano music was from another videogame like Final Fantasy or something, but I must be wrong. In my brief correspondence with Ghormak on the old KS forum I learned he designed the level 'Rain' aroud the music he'd already made for it!

It's some original piano-ing by Ghormak. He also did music for his level Rain, and some wildly different music for It Waits by Eric Colossal. The Ben Jordan series of adventure games is mostly scored by him, and he has also composed a number of C64 tunes, some of which can be heard in Thrustburst.
At least, I think that's all correct. He's a somewhat engimatic fellah!
