In the USA it is a Light Sport. In other countries it would be considered an ultralight.

This plane is just great:)
My Father got one and i fly with it all the time, the view u get from the cockpit is the best view u can get!
it is also great, and also pretty easy to fly!
I recommend it the most!

Basically, the planes you were looking at before are inexpensive ultralight aircraft. A Sky Arrow is a "real" plane. The entire plane is carbon fiber. It is easy to fly and the visibility is the best feature. But at about $100K, the price is also "real". No complaints on the plane except the tandem layout. If you fly alone mostly, tandem is fine, but a bit isolating for the passenger. When flying with passengers, I like the Sport Cruiser or Tecnam Sierra. Prices are all around $100K.

guys, all of you sound like a knowledgeable crowd. here is my question: i'm considering purchasing a used Titan Tornado or Challenger II. The Challenger has been my favorite for years, but I think it is slower, and I like the slick looks of the Titan. NOW I run into this video, and how do you compare this plane to the two I already know? This Sky Arrow beats both in my book!

i love this plane!!! i fly 439SA a lot!!! and it truely handles gret!!! Chesapeake sport pilot is an awsmoe flight school!!! i would recommend it to anybody!
