  • psi = pounds per square inch old chap

  • @lesleyblood1 I knew that. LOL

  • Fred, is this considered TIG welding? i'm applying for a TIG precision welding job and they weld 16-22Ga sheet metals, I've got 1 yr of exp. in TIG but I've never welding thin materials * no thinner than 1/8 in"... Is it that easy? cause it doesn't seem very harse. what your doing is oxi acetylene right?

  • @muffinmedschredder this is oxy acetylene. tig welding thin is the best method and it depends on what kind of metal as to whether or not it's "easy". they all take practice some more than others.

  • Probably the best view of a weld puddle in any video I have seen! Half the welding videos have terrible resolution and poor views of the actual weld taking place. Thanks for showing this.

  • @Richardsmusic Thanks. I have some more videos with some cool weld puddles I am going to upload them soon.

  • Fuck you easy to listen to ,like an old dog with nothin to prove or a guy with no demons ,let do shrooms!

  • The cobra is best when you pull the torch parallel to the metal piece. Adjacent (as in the beginning of this video) is bit more difficult because the handle get's in the way when welding something with a wide base.

  • excellent gas welding!! i can see how awkward it must be by the position of the rod. keep it up!

  • pretty

  • hey, excellent for first time, i have the torch now and the gas saver but have not had a chancer to use it. I like to watch to learn thanks BUGS

  • Hey for first excellent, i bought the torch and the gas saver and have not tried it yet too busy, thanks I like watching to learn. BUGS

  • Great video. Your first one kinda sucked until I realized it was a build up to the next one which was really cool. Each video got better and better.

In fact your videos were so good that I bought one of these torches just the other day. The DHC guys must really love you!

I'm really impressed with it. You're right about cutting. it can be a problem with certain cuts in thick metal but I found if you pre-heat the metal, it can be made to cut to the side instead of just straight back.
