Dec 21, 2011: We wish it weren't the case, but GOP House members from Wisconsin all voted against the unemployment insurance extension. In response, a group of constituents who are about to lose their benefits went to the offices of Paul Ryan, Sean Duffy, and Reid Ribble yesterday to present them with lumps of coal, and to urge them (in person if possible) to change their stance and support the Senate's version of the extension before it's too late.
It's never too late to have an impact. They think the people will let it slide just because of the holidays. Let's show them that they've only underestimated us again.

Do ANY of you people have evidence to back up your claims that we are "fat lazy welfare trash"? Also, saying "getting a job" in the aftermath of a recession from we are still recovering from is like saying "let them eat cake". (And before anyone gets pedantic about this, I know that Marie Antoinette never said that line. The context of the saying fits, however.)

you bunch of fat lazy welfare trash. Get off your ass and provide a service or product to people and make your own fucking money! By the look of it, you are all on food stamps too.

Here is an idea. Get off your ass and find a job. If you cannot find a job after an entire year, you are not looking hard enough. They are out there.

We should stop extending unemployment benefits. What incentive is there to find a job? We wonder why there are so many people out of work. If you have to take a job that pays less to save your house, do it. There are now hiring signs all over the area. The problem is that either people don't want a cut in pay or they are not qualified for the job. Fact: You will not get a great paying job on a high school diploma in today's world most of the time.
