In this episode of Ken Ken Cook, I teach you how to make tropical pork chops with spicy pineapple guava sauce! d^_^b

Ingredients:
1tbs of canola oil
1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
1/2 red onion
1 cup of guava juice
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
2 roasted jalapenos peeled, sliced, and minced
1/2 cup of banana ketchup
4 Sprigs of mint leaves (chopped)
4 pork chops (1 1/4 inch thick pork with bone)
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil for brushing

  • @TwistedxJester no , i don't think so. you can broil them if you like... but it wont be the same.

  • Glad to see someone else pushing blackening jalapenos. Whenever I make salsa I blacken everything and the flavor is phenomenal.

  • @mes5961 thanks :). an azn grocery store should have it by the filipino aisle, and most military base grocery stores have it too- by the international aisle.

  • can u use beef instead?

  • @TwistedxJester when gas is combusted, it turns into carbon dioxide and water.. so no its perfectly fine to roast them on a gas flame.

    Two questions though. Why do you put the peppers in a paper bag? Where do you set the meat for that 10 minutes so it doesn't get cold?
