@TheAdamewing He's not just mocking Dylan's(or Springsteen's) occasionally indistinct diction, but the fact that there is no neat, glib answer to the problems the world faces. People pretend that 'love' or a certain politician or bombing one person or not bombing another or whatever looks good on a T-shirt will heal the world, but the truth is that right now, nobody knows what the hell to do. The humor comes from a singer *not* having a glib solution.

today is a sad day for i suspect i have now seen all of the fry and laurie videos available on youtube. perhaps i should move on to purchasing some of this splendid tv show's seasons on dvd or the likes.

That part where you Springsteen doesn't seem like he knows what to sing and just goes "mrbldrbldrrrrr" and with the harmonica too... Classic Springsteen.
