  • i didnt put alote of heat sink compuand only a little bit and you no the chip i put the compound on? and the thing that goes over top of the chip do they both have to touch?

  • @ExplosiveGamlng Yes both heatsinks must make contact with their chip, otherwise the xbox 360 will overheat instantly.

  • i tightend all the screws and when i put dvd drive in and video and power cables in and turn it on its already shows 2 red lights and i can turn it off from front?

  • @ExplosiveGamlng You may have to tighten the screws a bit more, or you applied too much thermal paste, resulting in poor contact. I will send you a video to an alternative overheating process as well that may help.

  • does the cpu and cpu chip have to touch when you tighten the screws?

  • @ExplosiveGamlng Heatsink Compound will work. Also I assume you are talking about the heatsink and cpu chip touching. They must make contact, so don't use too much heatsink compound, but don't overtighten the screws either.
