man im subscribing not only because of the cymbal, but because of the sick drumming that came with it
-
not all rock patterns are heavily reliant on the bell. i wouldve liked to hear the bow of the cymbal...

@memphisdrumshop I'm semi-new to drums can you tell me what hammering is on a cymbal?
-
that cymbal looks unnecessarily large
-
This is one of the first ride cymbals meant for rock that sound good as a crash.
-
@glitchhacker101 i compromised, i have a 16in apx crash and an 18in xs20 medium thin and they go great together
-
@glitchhacker101 really depends on what you're using them for, APX is good for loud music, and the Xs20s are good for anything, really. but i recently found out on sabian's website that Xs20s are actually made of a better quality metal (B20 bronze) and APX is made of B8 bronze.

MORE APX!!!!
-
@glitchhacker101 xs20 are beginner cymbals and apx are pro cymbals
-
@glitchhacker101 hey there. i got the xs20 brilliant pack, but i dont think they're better than the apx's.but if you got a budget, the xs20 are the best option for the money out there.cheers!

@glitchhacker101 APX!!!

@glitchhacker101 It's all personal opinion. Personnaly, I'd use the APX for heavy rock and punk, XS20 for a more versatile set.
is that crash supposed to sound like that, or is it battered

Yes, the crash has large hammering.
