Michelle Rodriguez habla de machetes at the Special Screening of 20th Century Fox feature "MACHETE" at Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles,Ca USA August 25, 2010
Machete Synopsis:
The highly skilled Federale Machete is hired by some unsavory types to assassinate a senator. But just as he's about to take the shot, he notices someone aiming at him and realizes he's been set up. He barely survives the sniper's bullet, and is soon out for revenge on his former employers, with the reluctant assistance of his old friend Cheech Marin, who has become a priest and taken a vow of nonviolence. If you hire him to take out the bad guys, make sure the bad guys aren't you!

  • It's nice that she didn't forget her native language. That is one's root! :)

  • En Puerto Rico se dice vara o varita, y suele usarse para corregir a los niños, porque no maltrata el cuerpo pero arrrrrde. Se saca de alguna mata o árbol, pero son bastante finitas. / In Puerto Rico those branches are called wands and are used to teach discipline to the kids, cause they don't damage the body but leave a burning sensation. They are very thin branches from plants or trees. Mostly used by grandmothers in the past, like she said.

  • RAMAS! TE PEGABAN CON RAMAS!

  • Senorita caliente!!! I would love to learn Spanish from her, Michelle Rodriguez is the most beautiful woman I've seen on the silver screen, it was nice to see Jessica Alba naked in Machete, but I wish it had been Michelle!!

  • I would learn Spanish just to talk to Michelle; senotita caliente!!!

  • @00mrmonster Ooooh! Lol sorry! Well as for accents, i've noticed she kind of catches on to them really quickly

  • @CelloPlaya08 I know she's from the DR and PR, but that's not how people speak in the islands- I am from Miami I am familiar w/ all the Latin American Spanish accents.

    She's speaking w/ a Chicano accent- a bit... I was wondering why .

  • @00mrmonster nope she partly grew up in the Dominican Republic and in Puerto Rico so she speaks spanish. She forgets at times but she speaks it lol

  • Why does she sound like a Mexican!?

She has def been hanging in CA too long, or she's trying to appease the Mexicans.
