@DarkHelixVII I think the dictionary definition sums it up:
Re·li·gion [ri-lij-uhn] Noun:
A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
Does that make it clear?

@darwill1000 Troll successful. *Thumbs up.*

@Genechanger That, my friend, depends on how you define religion.

@Pillage4Pleasure Blindness is an ailment of both theists and atheists alike, but you got a point. I can't imagine an atheist that would humor this guy that long. lol

@ncawadias Very much true. The only argument I know that intelligently refutes "Paley's Watchmaker" argument is the "Infinite Monkey Theorem". Problem w/ that is that the monkey theorem itself is fallible and isn't completely superimposable. In the end, all arguments make an assumption. It's just a matter of whether we believe 'em or not.

As an ex-engineer I can tell you that even the the manufacturer may know it best, I never came across a piece of machinary that I couldn't work out how it worked given enough time. It will be the same with life.
The problem with religion is that it assumes that anything it doesn't understand, is not able to be understood, therefore it must be god; end of story.
Religion does not give you any answers. It just stops you asking any questions.

This man is condescending in his demeanor and obviously bias in his expression. The way he continually seeks acceptance by blurting out rapid sections of the Koran in quick succession makes him appear childish. Additionally, he mentions ideas validated by science which appear in the Koran but not the ones which are not validated by science but appear in the Koran. Pig eating, for instance, has been disproved by science but written about in the Koran. Talk about that Dr. Zakir Naik, if you can.

This is know as the watchmaker argument, and it is an example of circular logic. You begin with the conclusion that there must be a manufacturer in an attempt to prove god. There is no reason to make this assumption other than intellectual laziness.
I now believe in God!!!!!!!!!!1111
