Tane Emia-Moore is a 20-something bluesy-poppy-rocky so and so, originally from Tasmania, now based in the Australian musical mecca - Melbourne. With energetic indie rocknroll songs, as well as a somber bag of country blues and croons, his stage show is a dynamic, emotive, and very personal insight into an honest musical mind. His solo shows have been getting blood pumping and toes tapping for the better part of 2010, and 2011 looks to be a big year for this young songwriter, with a cheeky Tassie tour planned and his debut EP in the works.

Tané has entered three song comps over the cold Melbourne winter, coming away with:
*1st Place - Hotel Barkly Openmic Competition
*1st Place - Elwood Lounge Openmic Battle
*And is also in the Grand Final of the Revolver "Melbourne Fresh" Music Competition, to be held on 27th September 2011. (Stay tuned)

Through the Elwood Lounge competition he now has an EP recording coming up at Sing Sing Recording Studios (Kimbra, Lior, Kanye West etc) in October, with Melbourne and Hobart EP Launches and a Tassie tour planned for December/January. He has also secured a spot on BalconyTV, a worldwide music source, featuring songs by local artists in major cities across the world.
The Tazzie Razzies, a lighthearted Tasmanian music awards public forum, voted Tané "Tasmanian Solo Act of the Year" in 2011. They then disqualified him when they found out he'd moved to Melbourne haha. Brilliant.
