7:04 - 7:32... I don't think Aileen believed that. I think she doesn't want to take the blame alone, but doesn't want to implicate Tyria Moore. So she used that excuse, that the police knew all along and 'let her become' a serial killer. If anyone besides Aileen knew, it was Tyria Moore, not the police.

This story makes me sad on so many levels. While I don't believe that Aileen killed in self-defense, I do believe that all this could have been prevented if soceity had reached out and helped the little girl who had to endure so much pain. No child should ever be neglected and forced to prostitue herself to get what she needs. She was doomed from the start because everyone in her life abandoned and abused her. This should be the perfect example of why we must protect our children.
