How "fast" is a LAV-III/Stryker truck stuck in the mud?

62 mph?

No, Strykers are restricted to less than 45 mph lest they turn-over. Now this has been reduced to uNDER 35 MPH because THEIR WHEELS ARE FALLING OFF!

25 mph?

No.

Try, 0 MPH.

Notice how "quiet" the Stryker truck is not. You can hear it coming for miles with its engine whine; which is louder? The straining engine or the whining excuses of the Stryker-ophiles whose weak egos are bruised when the FACTS of the dismal failure Shinseki's motorized brigades are exposed?

So much for the "high speed" of the wheeled trucktards in the U.S. Army and morines who are all about what WRONG LOOKS LIKE. The LAV-1 ill-equipped, moron marines are understandable; THEY ARE MORONS. Its expected for them to "do stupid" because they are stupid. The Army however, has years of institutional knowledge of WHAT RIGHT LOOKS LIKE---its years of winning wars with tracked tanks--and knows better than to be road-bound, motorized infantiles.

We should stop supplying wheeled targets for ragheads to have fun with high-explosives and their garage door opener "play stations".

  • M 113s anyone? ahah

  • If people think this is a piece of crap in these brushfire wars just wait until the shit hits the fan and it has to go against a conventional army. BMPs will turn these into swiss cheese. Not to say aluminum armoured M113s are better (beer cans on tracks) Army should have designed a new tracked APC.

  • lol its like a HUGE pig Wollongong in the mud

    BOOOOMMMMMM

    ur all dead

  • well that sucks

  • Hey I'm Russian and I love US and support it with all my heart... but I have to admit, Bradley or any BMP (1,2 or 3) are better and you know why? Because they have tracks. It's as simple as that- there's a reason why the Germans used tracks on their armored transports in WW2.

  • @StrykerCDR Wanting something in your head isn't going to make a high ground pressure wheeled truck cross-country mobile. Your statements are typical of the millenial generation making excuses for the shoddy hands they have been given. Stop making excuses for crap and demand upgraded light tracked tanks to be XCM to do the job right.

  • You do realize that the now canceled Future Combat System ICV was a tracked vehicle, right?

  • 62 mph! Lol! You meant 6.2 mph!

  • id have to say the new strikers are atleast more comfortable for the crew, but id agree i still love my t lav's wit the rubber track mod. soo much lighter.

Part of the problem is (was) driver error. You have to have complete confidence in yourself before you take out a Stryker, expecting it to "go anywhere". My students got one stuck on a hillside, and I myself as an Instructor got one stuck on a snow-covered hill. It happens. Still one of the best vehicles we had in Iraq tho.
