Congress is being bought out by the corporatocracy to implement sanctions of Iran, because Iran refused (decades ago) to allow American-based energy companies to advance their energy infrastructure through taking out extensive loans from international banking systems that work directly with these energy companies. In essense, Iran would put its people in debt to have an energy overhaul done to their country, so they refused the idea. Now they are developing energy, and US lobbyists don't like it
