China's level of development is just comparable to the US in 1950s. So please compare China with the human rights record of US in 1950s. Thank you!
As a Chinese I am shocked how US is implementing general elections in Afghanistan, this will not help that country.
China's neighbor, South Korea, and many other countries in this world rise with an authorization government then achieved democary. I respect, to most extent, the route Chinese people choose the maximize the interest of the people.

I disagree, in the US people are able to publicly oppose an administration and campaign against its governmen policies and publish conversations and opinions on the internet on whatever subject they want. In China this is not the case. China silences opposing thoughts by arresting people, censors the internet, only let people 'choose' a communist leader, there is no room voor other ideoligies. Also i'm no american, and the media here is much more free than that of america and china.
