The "group of people that want to screw you over" are the "farmers" and we are the "livestock". Whether they give us a little or more than enough to survive, the point is we are all slaves roaming in a pasture on the farm they created to keep profiting from our ignorance and brainwashing. No matter who you vote for you are still a slave, still being used and abused, and still have the "authority" of the enslavers forced on you at the point of a gun using fear, murder, threats and coercion.

Even if Ron Paul did win, he'd never receive enough backing to get any really meaningful reforms passed anyway. It's not like the bulk of elected representatives would magically start acting out of a fit of conscience and begin voting for laws detrimental to the interests of big business & high finance. People are indifferent to politics because they know most of these clowns are bought & paid for.

I am voting for Ron Paul, regardless of what some hair-doo on the idiot box says. I will do that because I think he is the better candidate. It may not matter, he may have no chance, but IMO the other "poll-leading" candidates (red or blue) are all the same "other" choice. I think it is time to vote for the statesman I think will speak and act in my interest instead of an "electable" politician that will be business as usual. FU2

I still vote, but have no fucking idea why. To my mind, the privilege of being able to choose my rapist is not democracy. Government is at this stage so hopelessly corrupt that the only reason we still have elections is to perpetuate the illusion of civilian control - to placate the masses for a few years at a time while we're being ass-raped by the current regime.

@NHBackcountryGuide I agree.At least if all of us who support RP vote for him,then if he doesn't win,THEN we will have a reason for a revolution or to cry conspiracy.But if we sit and say "eh he wont win anyway so why vote" then duh,yea he's not going to win,for SURE.Better than just voting,donate to the money bomb,and take 5-10 other ppl to the booth with you to vote for him.
