Marina of Athens, oriental dancer - 4b (Hayat Club) - Candle dance

Marina, a Greek oriental dancer, at an event held at the Hayat Club in Athens, on February 2nd, 2008. Marina studied with Rhea of Athens and mostly with her daughter Piper and made a name for herself in Arabic and Greek clubs and restaurants in Athens. Apart from being an exquisitely delicate, tasteful and technically skilled dancer, who projects a sweet and engaging personality, she is a wonderful and very generous teacher -one of the most gifted in this country-, adored by her many students. Here she does a candle tray dance and goes on to a spirited finale with "Habibi ya eini". Unfortunately the club was very badly lit, the only source being behind her, so you can't see much of her face and her costume ... I have recently uploaded another video of the same dance taken fron a different angle, thus better lit. I numbered it 4a so that people view it first.
