WOW. My high school did this show, and I wish we even looked like anything next to you. Our Gladys was at least as good as yours, but your scenery, costumes, dancing--wow!

OMG! That was a high school? That was REALLY good for a high school? What school is this? Is it an arts school or something?

Nope, a regular public school. Pickerington North. They have an amazing theatre department. The year after I graduated they did High School Musical and won best in the country :) I miss it sometimes

steam heat isnt supposed to be sexy. Watch the original, and learn what you're talking about

The dancers are talented, but the dance is more of a competition version of Steam Heat because it is completely out of context for the show. And way too sexy for the 50's and for what they're trying to acheive in that scene. But the girls do have some great technique.

I really like this interpretation of Steam Heat. I'm actually not the biggest fan of the movie version. Also, as a dancer, I look at this from both a technique and entertainment standpoint, both of which it meets quite well. Great job! :)
