Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game Review

Happy Thanksgiving! Yep, it's another holiday-themed video game video...well, sort of. There may not be a lot of talk about turkeys in this video, but YOU'D be a turkey not to check out this super sweet retro-brawler!! Whether you own a PS3 or an XBOX360, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game is at the very least a solid trial download. If you're a skeptic of games that have any affiliation with a movie, I can't blame you, but this game is definitely an exception. Get ready to get callused hands from the game play, teary eyes from the nostalgic video game music and get ready to tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday...because you'll be dust by Monday...because you'll be pulverized in 2 seconds, and the cleaning lady, she cleans up...dust...she dusts... Well, yeah, it can be difficult at times anyway... So, enjoy the review and stay tuned for next time, because next time, I'll be deadly serious next time!! Nice review. Glad to see a game pay homage to older games instead of being nothing but graphics and boring gameplay.

Bought the game yesterday and beat it today. I only played on the hardest difficulty setting as Stills and boy oh boy did I get my ass kicked on stage 1 and 2. However, I kept my level, experience, stats, and cash when I died so I eventually became more durable to get through the stage. I found stages 1 and 2 the hardest mainly because those were during the time I didn't fully understand how to survive waves of enemies and my stats weren't that high. Game actually got easier near the end. loveit

I loved River City Ransom, too. As kids, we'd stay up until 3a.m. on weekends (Fri, Sat) playing it . 06:17 Agreed- the music is fun- reminds me of Mega Man 2 a bit. Might give this a shot.
