  • Thanks so much; we had fun making it.

  • off focus question :)

who is the designer of that fabric? I like the print.

And the video is just amazing.

    Thank you for sharing

  • It is a Ricky Tims fabric that was available 3-4 years ago: I can't remember the name of the exact line. You might try his web site as he may know where to get it now. Good luck!

  • Those are machine quilting gloves, and they help you grip the fabric as you move it across the machine bed. It makes machine quilting MUCH easier!

  • We do have plans for a trapunto DVD, but if we do it, it would not come out until 2009-too much on the plate right now! Thanks!

  • Awesome! Are you going to have this pansy pattern 4 sale? You are sooooo talented. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Thanks for the compliment! I am working on a trapunto class that will use this pansy as the basis for the class, but I have to revise my drawing so that it will be easy to fuse it up really fast. So, yes, I think a pattern will be forthcoming, but it wll be a few months at least!

Glad you enjoyed this so much! Yes, we have a web site and blog.

You Tube does not allow posting of a web address here so if you remove the spaces in our business name below below and add a "dot com" at the end, you'll get there!

  • You are an absolute artist with a sewing machine!!! I have never seen this process before and would love to see more from you. Do you have a web site or instructional site?

  • This would be great on the back of a jacket. I love quilted wearable art. You get a much larger audience for your art work. You become a walking art gallery.

  • I watched #1 and #2 of your tutorial on trupunto; It was great and now I will try something in trupunto. I have never done that technique before but I believe after watching your videos I can do. Thanks again for sharing your technique. I have seen about all your video as I'm a newbee quilter and having tons of fun. Have a great Holiday Season.

  • PAT-SY!!! Even though I have watched this vid in the past...all of a sudden not only does it all make sense...but it seems do-able to me now! I'm very excited to try this. Not sure if I can just throw some trapunto into the quilt I'm working on now but if not, I'm thinking I will specifically get some fabric and a new (smaller than your pansy!) die and try it! I'll pick up some pretty threads and play around with some painting. I'm so excited!!!! This vid is amazing! tfs...

  • Thank you for this video (and part 1 of Trapunto). I didn't understand this technique before, but you've made it very clear. Can't wait to give it a shot!

  • I love this technique and the way you made it understandable for a newbie in quilting. What kind of presser foot were you using? I am guessing you had foot feed down with exception of satin stitch? Looking forward to more of your videos! Okie From Muskogee

  • thanks so much for clear helpful tuition, so often vids go off half-cocked....not you, more please, please, please!!!!!

Exceptional work, by the way. The shop is also very useful.

  • I found this video amazing, informative, well thought out and easy to follow. It does, leave on with a hunger for more, lol. Great presentation!! I can't wait to try this. As a novice, this kind of layered process gives me lots to try and explore, with plenty of key techniques. Thank you very much for your time and energy. It has, indeed, inspired me to explore. Gratefully, Carol
