hey umm i just got this white dove from my friend, she wasnt looking after her properly so she gave her to me, shes a little hand tame... but other then that she just bites like crazy and freaks out every time time near the cage, im quite worried about her, i have had birds all my life and they have always become friendly after a few days, but this one just wont even let me near her.. any advise or way to help her to like me?

is a nice thing that bird trust u, I ENVY THAT, but i wouldnt want my 50 white morvet pigeons tp be that friendly, can u imagine landing on people, cats, racoons amd mean kids, no way.

Where do you get shelled peanuts from? I know pigeons love them and I'd like to use them with my birds but I only have the ones that come in shells for the parrots. My birds are older and probably wouldn't know it was food.

Hi Destroyahdes, I got them in the wild bird feed section of the local feed store, but I would think a TSC or Walmart would also have them where the bird feeders are located. They are shelled and split in half, so they are ready to use.

Yea, I almost hate to fly him for fear of losing him, but he's my best flier, and he would not be a happy camper if I didn't let him fly.
