@harpbloke thanx Andy,im trying to work out how to put the ferrocerium on now-its kinda small sparks off the dremel wheel-maybe i will make an acid pickle and attach it that way.

@hydrophoenixx thanx,mine went horribly wrong and after cleaning the glass off i tried cement but it didnt bond to the glass and so im back to square one

Very interesting. I built a cement battery about one year ago and it still makes about 1.2 volts. Can't wait to see your results.
