  • i heard that staying in the sun for about half an hour is good for you bc vitamin d helps u not to get skin cancer

  • BS and dangerous information. It is building a Vitamin-D deficient generation with enormous suffering and economic consequences.

BUT it is creating more and more sales of sun-protection lotions, that has an opposite effect to the problem they are supposed to address.

  • @kb24crazylaker Most definately. There are numerous products that promote a great tan while protecting your skin. Check out some products by nivea or Lancaster. Happy Holidays!

  • As a matter of fact, our body gets plenty of Vitamin D in spring and summer; also while lotions and creams with SPF on our skin. I urge you to use sun screen as skin cancer bothers more people than you might imagine. I witnessed several cases concerning different age groups. Using sun screen is vital these days. Merry Christmas!

  • @rmank22 Your body takes in Vitamin D while your outside. Your body also gets Vitamin D while you wear sun screen. I am male and 29 y.o.. I have already seen too many people of all ages in both Europe and Africa suffer from skin cancer! Therefore, I recommend you to use sun screen every day in spring and summer.

  • I had a few removed from my face and it left bad scars. does any one know how to get rid of the scars? plastic surgeon says i am stuck with them. i found a product called dermaflage that i use every day to fill and cover them which is good

  • Look into sunscreen/ if you look at the data; number of skin cancer cases, when different sunblocks were introduced. The number rises with the amount of sunblock used.

Putting nasty chemicals on your skin is not good. Our body's need the sun to produce vitamin D. Lets see; no vitamin D + nasty chemicals = skin cancer.

If you put nasty stuff in & on your body; nasty stuff is what you get back.

  • @rmank22 I'm not a Dr. but common sense would tell you we need sun. And best way to get vitamin D is sun exposure. You can over do it if you are fair skinned or are 1 in 20 that have a DNA repair issue with the BRCA gene you are more susceptible to cancers. We at Rocky Flats Gear designed x-ray protective undergarments to protect from the airport scanners. As you may know x-rays are much more powerful UV-A/B photons both are ionizing radiation. We have educational videos on our utube ch.

  • @rmank22 yea...half hour per month.

  • @Jlinzer , You are correct. This video is giving horrible and dangerous advice.

  • can u wear sun screen and still get tan
