Another "Russian-esque" work from the 80's.

My first time on vinyl! :) Recorded in March 1984 for local radio station contest at Solar studios in Dartmouth. Amazing what a studio could do to make you sound big and professional. Too bad we were not in Toronto or NYC or London or Berlin. We were still lucky and had so many great friends and fans and had great places to play but Halifax simply did not have the critical mass. Heck the musician's union would give us a hard time for doing free fund-raiser shows for Amnesty International... difficult times to be underground and too poor to pay union dues. Still it was the best time of my life.

Song:
Lyrics: Allison Outhit
Vocals: Allison Outhit (heck she even spoke Russian.. song was "trendy" given the cold war era)
Simmons Drums: Edwin Cameron
Strings: Allison Outhit
Bass Sequence: Tim Egan
High Sequence: Philip Pilgrim
Guitar: Philip Pilgrim
TR-808 Drums: Tim Egan

The song was written one afternoon on Spring Garden Road in the Outhit's Apartment 11 floors above the city.
