Famous in a Small Town: A Jonas Brothers Love Story Chapter 1

Megans POV

"This sucks." Joe pouted as we stood outside on my front porch.
"Why do you have to move?" Kevin asked.
"My daddy got a new job." I said with a frown, "And its too far away to stay here." I added trying not to cry. I can't believe I had to leave my 3 best friends to move to Nashville, where ever that is. I looked over at my best friend, Nick he still hadn't said a word.
"Joseph! Kevin! Can you please come help us carry boxes?" Mr. Jonas called from inside my house, the Jonas' were nice people, they even offered to help my mommy and daddy pack up the big van.
"Why doesn't Nick have to?" Joe whined.
"Because, you two are old enough and strong enough to carry the boxes, Nick isn't, hes only 6!" Mr. Jonas said helping my dad carry our couch out the door and into the van. "But, he can help Megan carry the couch cushions." he added with a smile and we all walked into the house. Kevin and Joe both picked up a box and carried it outside while Nick and I grabbed the couch cushions.
"Nick? Are you ok?" I asked, he hadn't said a thing since he found out we were leaving.
"I don't want you to go." he said, hugging me.
"I don't want to go either." I said, hugging him back. Nick had been my best friend for as long as I could remember. We always played together and he would make sure no one picked on me. He let me go and we grabbed the pillow cushions and took them outside. My daddy finished loading the van and told me to say good bye to the boys.
"I'm going to miss you." Joe said hugging me.
"I'll miss you too Joe-Joe." I said, hugging him back.
"What are we going to do without our little sister?" Kevin asked with a smile trying to make me feel better.
"I don't know." I said hugging him. He let me go and he took Joe back over to their mom.
"You could stay at my house. You could have my room." Nick said and I laughed.
"You know I have to go with my mommy and daddy." I said frowning.
"I'm going to miss you." He said hugging me. I hugged him back,
"I'm going to miss you too." I said. We both let go and stood there for a minute. Nick kissed my cheek.
"Don't forget about me Megs." he said.
"I won't." I said.
"Come on, Megan! It's time to go." I gave Nick another hug and ran over to my mommy's car. I climbed in the backseat and she buckled me in. As we drove away I looked back and waved.

10 years later:

I still hadn't forgotten Nick, or Joe or Kevin. I still thought about them all the time. Even more so now, that I was moving back from Nashville, to stay with my Aunt Sabrina and go to the Martin Slade Fine Arts Academy. I heard the boys go there, I wonder if they still think about me too.
