  • Scudrunner what do you think about the AP .061 engine? I really think that it has good characteristics and it is very powerfull, and comes at a low price!

  • Seems to be a good engine. I have used them on gliders, combat wings, and sport planes. Easy to break in, nice throttle. There just aren't too many 1/2a options these days. If you are looking for more power though I would go with the Norvel 061. Its not made anymore but you can find them at online auctions.

  • Thank you....

  • @betofazzo These small engines generally like the nitromethane content to be around 15 to 30% (I use 20%) and oil content to be 20%. Use all castor oil, or 10% each synthetic and castor if you want to blend. The remaining volume is made up of methanol. Regards.

  • Which fuel are you using? i have the AP hornet .09 engine but i have really hard time to get tune right.. any help i really apreciate..thanks
