This is also a nationalist song- I don't think people often realize that nor that the song is attributed to Handel but there still remains debate as to who originally composed this song.

I'm an atheïst, so the (con)text of this song doesn't reach me. But this song sounds very powerfull with a strong build from A to Z...Although the version of Aafje Heynis sounds much better.
